Pilmico’s improved premium hog feed brand to help swine farmers

Pilmico introduces a new and improved formulation of premium hog feeds Elite XP to strengthen the growth, health, and reproduction of pigs. 

The food and agribusiness unit of the Aboitiz Group, Pilmico Animal Nutrition Corporation (Pilmico), introduces a new and improved formulation for its premium hog feed line, Elite XP, that improves hogs’ growth, health, and reproduction.

Elite XP was revamped to provide a better nutrition solution for hogs as an answer to the continued threats to swine health. The leveled-up formulation contains new features, Immuno-Growth Factor and Piglet+ Technology, designed to strengthen the health and improve the growth of pigs and optimize breeder pigs’ full genetic potential.

Pilmico conducted a nationwide Elite XP roadshow which was attended by swine farmers, agribusiness store owners and veterinarians, among others. 

With Elite XP’s new formula that helps speed up the efficient growth and productivity of pigs, Pilmico aims to thrust the recovery of the swine industry and help swine farmers meet the country’s high demand for pork. 

According to Joana Jayson-Pequiro, Assistant Vice President of Nutrition and Research of Pilmico, this is one of their contributions as they push for food security in the Philippines. “To continue delivering our mission to Feed Humanity, Pilmico is committed to being at the forefront of transforming our products and services and helping our partners in the swine industry to reach their full potential. Pilmico’s Elite XP was launched across the country, spanning from Ilocos Region to the province of Zamboanga through a 2-month long roadshow. A total of more than 2,300 swine farmers, agribusiness store owners, local government officials and veterinarians attended Elite XP’s launch events.
