Gold Coin empowers students in China

As they strengthen their commitment to making a positive impact on society and fostering community development, Gold Coin China recently made donations to multiple schools in Zhangzhou, Guangdong, and Kunming. This initiative reflects Pilmico and Gold Coin Group’s commitment to advancing business and communities through supporting the education sector. 

Supporting the students in Zhangzhou

Gold Coin Zhangzhou teamed up with Huangtian Primary School to provide financial support worth 2,000 CNY for two students. These students were handpicked to receive financial aid to help ease the burden associated with pursuing their education. In addition to the scholarship, they also donated school supplies to provide the students with an enhanced learning environment. 

Contributing to a better learning environment in Dongguan

The company also extended its support to Guangxi Baimao Primary School

in Dongguan, where they donated 70,000 CNY to create a more learning-conducive environment. The donation will be used for a range of resources, from teaching aids to essential infrastructure improvements. Through these, Gold Coin aims to improve the educational experience for students and provide them with the essential tools they need to succeed. 

Improving the dormitory in Kunming

Team members of Gold Coin Kunming turned over beds and other supplies to the Mi Malong Kindergarten boarding school in Anning City, Yunnan.

Meanwhile, in Kunming, Gold Coin team members have reached the Miao ethnic group, where the underdeveloped border region of Anning City has resulted in financial and transportation difficulties. Because of their unique circumstances, students of the Mi Malong Kindergarten board at their school.

On December 19, team members of Gold Coin Kunming donated beds and school supplies worth 59,000 CNY to the school. They collaborated with the Red Cross and other private institutions like the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), the Municipal Government, and the Education Bureau, who were also present during the turnover ceremony. 

Zhou Weimin from the Anning Municipal Government expressed his gratitude to the company, “Your kind contribution will make a total difference to children’s lives and study here. We sincerely hope there will be more enterprises like Gold Coin Kungming to pay back to society when needed.”                  

A turnover ceremony was held at Guangxi Baimao Primary School in Dongguan, led by Ong Kar Ching, Gold Coin China Country Director (in center).
